Incredibly beautiful place for a visit to Grindelwald, it has great location very near from the train station and nice services...

The hotel room was large and excellent, overlooking the mountain. the staff was highly courteous and efficient, addressing all my issues. the breakfast was enjoyable with plenty of great food. the location was stunning and particularly good, situated in a peaceful area and near a train station. It was a bonus being just a 10-15 minute walk from Schwarzhorn.

We had a junior suite with balcony. Balcony was shared which was a suprise. Description of room had said eiger views! From the room we could see about 6" !!! if you want views move further up the village.

Simply no complaints, relaxing stay. Exceptionally comfortable hotel with courteous personnel and excellent view of the surrounding mountains. Lovely and cozy room with a good bathroom and central heating, a private safe, and a flat-screen TV. Particularly good and unbelievable location right by Grindelwald Sports Ski School. And very close to the Centre of town and all tourist spots.

The rooms here are exceptional, offering a balcony with stunning views of the mountains and a lovely garden terrace.

Absolutely fabulous. The staff was great, especially Steffen and Karol. The room offered the best view of any place I've ever stayed. Loved it!

The hotel is relaxed and comfortable, with welcoming lounge and library space and a warming fire. Woody but not twee. Very nice spa and pool too.

The single room was attractive and the bed was comfortable. the bathroom was particularly good. - the hotel is conveniently located right by the center of Zermatt, EIGER, and the Mountain Scenery. Highly recommend Grindelwald. - Restaurant Alpenhof near the property is a great spot for lunch.

The hotel was delightful and lovely, we enjoyed everything here, especially the great and excellent breakfasts with plenty of meals.

Convenient to the train station. staff was very helpful.

Menu was very small and required american plan at the time of our stay. (they closed for the season shortly after our stay.)

The staff were fantastic and very welcoming of us and our two small children. The two owners introduced themselves to us the first night which was really nice and they were always around the hotel, making it feel more personal than a normal large chain hotel. The rooms have english speaking channels too which was a big plus. We had a really lovely stay.

We enjoyed our stay very much due to a combination of the hotel's central location close to the train station and other nearby areas, the hotel facilities such as the wellness and sauna areas, the staff's extreme friendliness, and the delicious breakfast served.

Outstanding and accomodating staff. Food was outstanding both for breakfast and dinner. Very responsive to any request. Excellent location (near train station) in Grindwald.

All the staff are nice. Quiet environment and convinient place close to the station and the downtown of Grindelwald. Great mountain view facing Eiger North Wall.

I could not understand why a jag of hot water(probably boiling portable water) was CHF5.

We loved the hotel's proximity to the train station, making it very convenient for us to explore all the activities in the area. The location in this beautiful valley, surrounded by the majestic Eiger mountain, was simply breathtaking. Additionally, the cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, and the room was both clean and comfortable. The hotel facilities were top-notch, especially the spa and pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, answering all our requests and being friendly and accommodating. They also spoke multiple languages, which made communication a breeze.

There was nothing we didn't like.
